The 9th World Congress on Conservation Agriculture shall be hosted by the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Research findings and practices shall be shared. More shall be put together to ensure advancement in the area of Conservation Agriculture. For details check up http: //wcca9.org

The Congress focuses on advances in the area of plant biology and biotechnology. Research findings are shared and new directions discussed. It is also time to build partnerships. It is very important that the congress strikes the balance between biotechnological advancement the conservation of our Planet Earth. 

The COP 28 is a Global event. It focusses most on issues of Climate Change, Safe Food and nutrition security. Both public and private sector organizations come to debate Global Policy and the future of Sustainable Development. Intially the issue of Global warming was elaborated and agreed to limit it to arise of 1.5C. This is the time to check progress in as far as mitigation of Global warming and climate change has progressed and then forge away forward.

This will be the 5th African Organic Conference. It will bring together all organic agriculture actors on the continent to reflect and share progress in the Organic Agriculture sub-sector. Plans for a better future shall be drawn. During this period, there shall also be the Afro-Fair during which organic products shall be exhibited.

The Conference shall look at the current status of Organic Agriculture in the East African Region, opportunities and barriers limiting scaling up of Organic Agriculture in the region. It will generate a way forward for future advancement of the Organic Agriculture Agenda.

The Community of Practice of McKnight Foundation Collaborative Resilience for Food Systems shall convene at Entebbe to share and exchange research findings and experiences in the Eastern and Southern Africa Region.

The Dialogue shall focus on Indigenous Fruits and vegetables

It is worth taking record of our biodiversity that has been eroded over years due to our agriculture practices.. Impact of the loss shall be shared and efforts to revitalize such biodiversity will be designed for our action. You are welcome to express your interest in such an event.
